The museum collection of Polotsk National Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve has more than 100,000 museum items represented by 35 collections.

A museum collection should be understood as a set of museum items related to each other by the commonality of one or more features and of particular value (scientific, cognitive, artistic, memorial). The museum collection is the main form of storage of museum items and is formed as a result of purposeful scientific work, in which each item acquires special significance.

The Museum of Traditional Hand Weaving of Poozerye during its scientific, cultural and educational activities constantly works with collections from the collection of the Museum-Reserve.
